2006年元月，我国著名竹笛演奏家俞逊发先生因病离开了人间，他的离去实为中国笛坛的一大悲事。

俞逊发先生是我国著名的笛子表演艺术家，教育家，笛曲作家。他的一生为中国竹笛艺术的发展做出了杰出的贡献。

俞逊发先生自幼喜欢民族乐器。13岁求师于陆春龄先生，天资聪慧的他14岁便以优异成绩考入上海民族乐团，即成为随团学员。1962年在第三届“上海之春”选拔中崭露头角。文革期间，他曾先后在上海乐团、上海京剧团、中国艺术团工作近八年，为此充实了演奏技术、进行了艺术积累、丰富了实践经验．并先后求师于冯子存、刘管乐、赵松庭等笛子大师。俞逊发为挖掘、开拓笛子的演奏技巧，先后创造了17余项新的吹奏技术，为竹笛的发展奠定了不可忽略的一步。

俞逊发先生一生热爱竹笛，喜爱民族音乐。他把每天绝大部分的时间都投身在了竹笛事业上，他的一言一行值得我们所有人的学习。他虽已经离我们而去，但是我们并不会忘记他，不会忘记他为传播国乐所做的贡献!

In 1962, in the third “Shanghai spring” selection in the emerging. During the cultural revolution, he worked in the Shanghai Orchestra, the Shanghai Opera Troupe, China work for nearly eight years, to enrich the artistic accumulation, experience and technology. It has played for the division of Feng Zicun, Liu Guanle, Zhao Songting, flute master. Yu Xunfa mining, pioneering flute playing skills, has created more than 17 new technology to play flute, the development has laid a step can not be ignored.

Mr. Yu Xunfa’s life love bamboo flute, like folk music. He put most of the time every day to join in the flute career, his every word and action worth all of us to learn. Although he has been away from us, but we will not forget him, he did not forget to spread Chinese contribution!
