汤良德，原籍上海，生长于音乐世家。著名二胡演奏家、教育家、作曲家及指挥家。
汤良德自幼学习演奏各种民族乐器，早在五十年代初，已经参加由他祖父和父亲组织的“汤家班”国乐团，担任二胡及琵琶独奏。1953年，他加入上海中国国乐团，并经常与著名笛子演奏家陆春龄一起演出。1956年，汤良德受北京新影乐团（现中国电影乐团）聘请，先后任二胡首席、乐团副首席、古典音乐和江南丝竹小组的组长、轻音乐乐队首席、署理乐队首席及署理指挥等职，并从事作曲、音乐教育等工作。创作的作品包括剧乐、电影配乐、二胡独奏曲、中乐合奏曲，以及与张韶合编的《二胡演奏法》。

1977年9月底，汤良德赴港定居，受聘于香港中乐团，任乐团署理首席，后为音乐事务处的高级音乐主任（中乐），并为香港青年中乐团及音乐事务处导师中乐团的首席指挥。曾领导香港青年中乐团往英国、法国、塞浦路斯、以色列、新加坡和加拿大作公开表演。此外，更多次应邀与多个中乐团合作担任指挥及二胡独奏，亦在香港中文大学祟基音乐系任客席二胡导师。因多年来对音乐教育的卓越成就，汤良德曾获香港艺术家联盟颁发1991年度香港“艺术教育家”年奖。
汤良德先后担任过社会上很多职务，包括中国民族管弦乐协会荣誉理事及胡琴专家组成员、北京琵琶研究会顾问、香港中乐团艺术顾问、香港民族管弦乐协会筹委会会长、香港中国器乐考核协会会长、紫荆中乐集音乐总监及艺术指导、宏光国乐团及新声国乐团的名誉顾问。
Tang Liangde grew up in a musical family. The famous erhu performers, educators, composers and conductors.
Tang Liangde studied and played a variety of folk instruments from childhood. Back in the early 50s, he joined the family of the Tang Dynasty, organized by his father and father, who played the erhu and Pipa solo. He led the China Youth Orchestra in Hongkong and performed in Britain, France, Cyprus, Israel, Singapore and canada. In addition, there is more time to work with many Chinese Orchestra Conductor and erhu solo, and as a guest lecturer at Chinese University Hong Kong, is the foundation of the erhu music department. Thanks to the remarkable achievements in music education over the years, Tang Liangde was awarded the “Hongkong art educator” award by the Hongkong Artists Association in 1991.
Tang Liangde served as many positions in society, including the China national orchestral Association honorary director and member of the expert group, Beijing Pipa erhu Association consultant, Hongkong Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra of Hongkong Art Association Advisory Committee Chairman, music director and artistic director of the association, China music, Hongkong China instrument assessment, Honorary Adviser China Hongguang China Orchestra and Symphony orchestra.
