啵咧 Bo-lie: Oboe of the Zhuang People

双簧气鸣乐器。由唢呐衍生而成，流行于广西壮族民间。又称“比列”、“别列”。“啵”壮语为吹，“咧”为管的意思。音色比唢呐柔和。

Bo-lie: Oboe of the Zhuang People

Double-reed aerophone, the instrument evolved from the suona, a Chinese oboe, but much softer in tone quality than its Han ancestor. It is popular in the Zhuang people, Guangxi, and the name bo-lie means a “blowing pipe”.
