抱笙 BAOSHENG: MOUTH ORGAN HOLD IN ARMS

抱笙

自由簧气鸣乐器。根据芦笙的发音原理创制设计，演奏时，座于两膝，抱持而吹故称。各音管都以手指按键钮来控制。音域宽广，音色统一。分中音和低音两种形制，中音抱笙音域为：d～^#c³；低音抱笙音域为；D～^#c¹。

BAOSHENG: MOUTH ORGAN HOLD IN ARMS

Free-reed aerophone. The instrument, wide in range and identical in tone color, was designed on the principle of the articulation of the minority lusheng. The name comes from its position of sitting on the player’s knees and being hold in his arms (bao) for blowing. The use of keys is for pipe controlling. Two types can be found: the alto (d～^#c³⁾ and the bass (D～^#c¹⁾.
