排鼓

20世纪60年代由苏州民族乐器厂根据民间中小型堂鼓改良而成，也称“五音排鼓”。多用于吹打乐，适于表现热烈欢腾的欢庆场面。

PAIGU: SET OF BARREL DRUMS

The type was developed from small and middle-sized folk tanggu drums by the Suzhou Traditional Musical Instruments Factory in the 1960s. Another name of this instrument is wuyin paigu, i.e. a set of five barrel drums with five tones. They are played in wind and percussion ensemble on the occasions of heating jubilation.
