I have the same flute given to me as a gift. I wish I could play this theme one day. To be able to play this at a silent moment for the peace, and inspiration, it would give to me, but also to others, it’s a worthy goal. But this is not an easy instrument to play. I need a teacher, but I live in NYC and have yet to find one. .

中国音协管乐研究会副会长、南京东南大学名誉教授。张维良

1982年全国民族器乐独奏比赛获优秀表演奖(笛子组第一名)。1983年创作的笛子独奏曲《太湖春》获中国音乐学院首届创作比赛二等奖。1987年参加海内外江南丝竹比赛获一等奖。(集体)1987年演奏的《清明上河图》(箫与箜篌)获1987年国际放送基金大奖。1988年创作的笛子独奏曲《南韵》获全国第六届器乐作品创作比赛三等奖。1995年录制的中国第一张激光唱片《箫的世界》荣获金唱片奖。1995年底创建了”华夏室内乐团”任团长，已举办系列音乐会五场，并率团参加法国96’现代音乐节，获得极大的成功，被誉为是”中国最有希望的演出团体”。

2000年舞蹈《庭院深深》获中国电视舞蹈比赛一等奖(担任音乐创作)，2001年舞蹈《缘》获俄罗斯世界舞蹈比赛金奖(担任音乐创作)，2002年古筝与电子音乐《沧浪秋吟》MTV比赛获中央电视台”新光奖”一等奖(担任音乐创作)，2002年荣获北京市”德艺双馨”奖，2003年创作的男子独舞《竹梦》音乐获”桃李杯”全国舞蹈大赛音乐创作一等奖。2009年由他所带领的中国民族器乐教学团队荣获”北京市优秀教学团队”;”教学成果二等奖”;特色资源库”民族器乐竹笛篇”被评为优秀。
